Why Zebu exists

The short version of how a field service company ended up building its own software.

Zebu exists to provide service businesses access to modern field service management tools without the complexity, limitations, or enterprise level pricing that has defined the industry for too long.

The company was born from a real operational need within the service industry. Its foundation comes from firsthand experience operating businesses across property management maintenance, janitorial services, and residential cleaning where effective scheduling, automation, reporting, and day to day coordination are essential to running a successful company. That experience highlighted a persistent problem: many of the tools available for small businesses are either outdated, complicated, or structured around “pay to play” pricing models that placed their most valuable features out of reach.

With more than a decade of experience in the software industry and exposure to CRM and business management platforms, Zebu was built with a different philosophy. The goal is to eliminate the gap between legacy software that doesn’t reflect how modern service businesses operate and sophisticated platforms designed primarily for large organizations with big budgets.

Zebu is committed to making its powerful platform accessible to businesses at every stage of growth. Whether a company is operated by a single owner or supported by a growing team, the tools should be available without forcing customers to pay every time they need an additional feature.

The mission is simple: help service businesses operate more efficiently, provide tools to increase revenue, and enrich them with technology they need without overcharging. Zebu will continue to evolve, adding new capabilities and improving the platform alongside the businesses it serves. The mission remains unchanged: build better software for the businesses that have historically been underserved by it.

How Zebu is built

One product for every trade

No separate app per industry. The same Price Book, quote builder, and dispatch board, set up around your own services and pricing.

Priced by team size

Every plan carries the features that move a service business day to day. You add seats as you grow, never feature unlocks.

Built by people who run one

Zebu is shaped by operating a service business, not by a roadmap drawn up in the abstract.
